Motion AIR RESISTANCE - ANSWER the friction that opposes the motion of falling objects and moving objects, when air hits the surface of an object. VECTOR - ANSWER a quantity that shows both magnitude (amount) and direction. FORCE - ANSWER a push or pull exerted by one object on another.
